Voice2Bug Terms of Use
This document sets out the terms of the free Voice2Bug trial. It does not constitute individual legal advice.
1. Service provider and contact
The service provider is Adrian Maryniewski, trading as Adrian Maryniewski Consulting, Polish tax identification number (NIP) 5811870973, ul. 3 Maja 17/13, 82-500 Kwidzyn, Poland.
For questions about the service, access, or these terms, contact adrian@maryniewski.pl.
2. Key terms
- Voice2Bug or the Service
- A Chrome browser extension and the related backend and administration panel that help collect material about an issue reproduced in a browser and prepare a report.
- Organization
- A company or other entity for which a Voice2Bug workspace has been created.
- Workspace
- The Organization's configuration, including users, a license, and available report destinations.
- Activation code
- A code used to activate access in the extension.
- Report
- Material generated from data collected while reproducing an issue. The report scope depends on available data and configuration.
- Destination
- A configured method of delivering or sharing a report, such as by email, through Jira Cloud, or via a link containing an access token.
3. Free 30-day trial
- The Voice2Bug trial begins after the extension has successfully stored the activation credential and the server has finalized that activation. Email confirmation and code delivery do not start the trial. The trial lasts exactly 30 days from that activation time.
- Starting the trial does not require payment card details or any other payment information.
- The trial does not involve any automatic charge.
- During the active trial, the User receives full Voice2Bug functionality and may create an unlimited number of reports. Technical security controls and Service availability do not constitute a product report quota.
- The full trial does not renew automatically. After expiry, starting recordings, creating reports, reading report content, exports, and workspace-bound report links are blocked until paid access is active.
- Expiry alone does not delete the account or report data. Storage remains subject to the data-retention rules, security cleanup, and valid deletion requests described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- The trial does not automatically create a payment obligation. A paid plan starts only after an authorized user explicitly selects an upgrade and completes the external checkout.
4. Receiving and activating access
- After submitting the form, the user receives an email to confirm their email address.
- After confirmation, the following may be provisioned in a pending state: an Organization, a Workspace, administrative access, a trial license, and an activation code. The trial becomes active only after successful extension activation.
- The user must protect activation codes, access links, and administrative credentials against unauthorized use.
- The Organization is responsible for granting access only to appropriate people and configuring report destinations.
5. Service scope
Voice2Bug helps turn an issue reproduced in a browser into a report with captured context. Depending on the session, configuration, and available data, a report may include:
- actions and steps used to reproduce the issue,
- URLs and navigation flow,
- manually captured screenshots of the visible area of the active tab,
- optional voice recording and transcription,
- browser, operating system, and screen resolution information,
- available filtered console entries and data about network requests and selected network responses.
Voice2Bug does not create a continuous screen video recording. Individual data categories are optional and may be empty, omitted, or redacted. The Service does not guarantee that every report is complete.
6. Editing and delivering reports
- In the manual report view, the user can change or remove selected parts of the material before sending it.
- A Workspace administrator may configure automatic delivery to enabled destinations. When automatic delivery is active, a report may be sent after generation without separate approval in the report view.
- When automatic delivery is disabled, the user can manually send a report to an available destination.
- Reports can currently be delivered or shared by email, through Jira Cloud, or via a link containing an access token. These terms do not cover Jira Server or Jira Data Center integration.
7. Report links
A report link contains an access token. Anyone with an active link may be able to open the shared material, so the user must share it only with intended recipients. A workspace-bound link remains usable only while the exact workspace license is active and the link has not been revoked. Legacy or anonymous links may instead use a fixed expiry. When a link expires or is revoked, access through that link is restricted, but the report and all related data are not automatically deleted.
8. User and Organization responsibilities
The user and the Organization agree to:
- use the Service lawfully and only within the scope of their permissions,
- not record or transmit data they are not authorized to access,
- consider internal IT, security, confidentiality, and data protection rules before starting a trial,
- review report content and recipients as appropriate for the configured workflow,
- not bypass safeguards, limits, or access controls,
- not use the Service for unlawful activity or to infringe another person's rights.
Within an organization, installing the extension, taking screenshots, recording voice, and collecting context may require approval from the IT or security team, a system administrator, or another authorized person.
9. AI-assisted processing
Voice2Bug uses AI services to transcribe, structure, and enrich report material. The output may contain errors, simplifications, or omissions and should be assessed in the context of the Organization's workflow. Voice2Bug does not guarantee that a report will enable an issue to be reproduced, prevent a production defect, or achieve a specific business result.
10. Availability and technical assistance
During the trial, the service provider offers assistance by email with activation and use of the Service. The trial does not include a guaranteed response time or a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily limited because of maintenance, security requirements, a provider outage, or abuse-prevention measures.
11. Content and rights to the Service
The user or the Organization retains rights to submitted content to the extent that the relevant party holds those rights. The user authorizes the service provider to process, store, and deliver the material to the extent technically necessary to provide the selected function and in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Rights to the software, the Voice2Bug name, and other Voice2Bug elements remain with their respective rights holders.
12. Expiration and termination of access
- After the full trial ends, creating new reports is blocked on the same account and license.
- After a paid subscription is cancelled, paid access remains available until the end of the paid period; creating new reports is then blocked.
- The service provider may restrict access in the event of abuse, a security risk, a breach of these terms, or a need to protect other users.
- Expiration of access does not mean that all data is deleted immediately. Storage rules, limitations, and the request process are described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Data and privacy
Details about data categories, technical providers, link sharing, retention, and how requests are handled are available in the Privacy Policy and on the Security and Data Handling page.
14. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Polish law, subject to mandatory rights that cannot be excluded by contract. If any provision is found to be ineffective, the remaining terms continue to apply. The current version is available at voice2bug.com/terms.
